Each week I go check the Associated Press rankings to see how both North Carolina football as well as the rest of the programs in the Atlantic Coast Conference are doing in the Top 25. After the loss to Wake Forest I did not think that I would see the Tar Heels, however I was pleasently surprised as they stayed in the “Other Receiving Votes” by getting the loneliest number… one. That puts UNC as the 42nd team in the nation. Guess that is not bad for a team that Andrew Jones (@AJonesFoxSports on twitter) gave a C- on his weekly ACC Report Card. For the trio of schools that have been in the Top 25 from the pre season there was a bit of movements. Beginning with the program most so called experts think should win it all, Florida State, who is now 2-0 after defeating FCS Savannah State, a squad that the vegas insiders had as a 70 points underdog.
