Ohio Governor Mike DeWine shared a stirring video highlighting all the things we miss about college sports. He did it to promote continued distancing measures. This, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that’s raging in America today.
DeWine shared the video on Twitter Monday to close up his COVID-19 briefing. In it, we are reminded of some things we used to take for granted — high-fives and hugs.
We close today's #COVID19 briefing with a video that @MACSports recently sent to us. This video reminds us of what we can look forward to in the future by practicing #SocialDistancing today. ⤵️ #InThisTogetherOhio #StaySafeOhio pic.twitter.com/OWxd1nodYk

The video highlighted the way sports touches our hearts in unique ways. And it highlighted the need to continue distancing — so we can get these things back sooner, rather than later.
Ohio has 19,609 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 at this time, per the official state website.
