Ohio State 9-0 (5-0 BIG 10) gave another dominant performance in their shut-out win against Purdue 1-7 (0-4 BIG 10). The Buckeyes denied the Boilermakers any points, winning 56-0. Braxton Miller was efficient passing the ball Saturday afternoon, going 19 of 23 for 233 yards and 4 TDs. The Buckeyes are possibly facing another undefeated season and another pass at a National Championship. They need a couple of things to happen: continue to convincingly win the rest of their games and the BIG 10 Championship and then hope for either Alabama, Oregon or Florida State to slip up.

The saying goes that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. With that in mind, Ohio State went into Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday fully aware of the Buckeyes' recent struggles in West Lafayette. The result, then, was a blowout win going the other way.
Currently 9-0 and with the nation’s largest winning streak at 21 games the Ohio State Buckeyes are having trouble getting past 4th in the A.P and BCS polls. Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State are all undefeated and very dominating teams but Ohio State has its own reason to be feared with dual threat quarterback Braxton […]
It seems that a down year for the BIG 10 Conference combined with the continued and justified love for the SEC is hurting Ohio State’s case to be considered for the BCS National Championship. Here are a few factors to consider when making an argument for the Buckeyes.
1. They could end the season winning 25 straight (currently owns the longest win streak).
2. Alabama, Oregon or...
Taking care of a few things here today, first and foremost. Ohio State is now 9 – 0, 21 and 0 total on the win loss record. the magic number is three. It was a banner day for Jeff Heuerman and the Ohio State tight ends against Purdue. Heuerman had one of the best days in recent memory when it came to receiving while Nick Vannett added his first career score as the Buckeyes' offense continued to spread the ball around.

Exchanges are some of the most fundamental actions in football. Center to quarterback. Quarterback to running back. If a team struggles to execute these simple things, then it is highly likely that team will not be successful.
Last week in the blowout of Penn State, Urban Meyer debuted a new formation and teased the possibility of a new exchange rarely if...
Purdue coach Darrell Hazell expected more than this Saturday.
He watched freshman quarterback, Danny Etling, get beaten up again. He saw the running game stopped cold again. He saw a defense repeatedly out of position.
The predictable result - more dubious records.
Braxton Miller threw for 233 yards and four touchdowns and backup Kenny Guiton added another TD pass and two more...
The Buckeyes rolled along to their 21st consecutive victory Saturday afternoon with a dominant 56-0 victory over the Purdue Boilermakers.
The rout started on the first pass of the game from Purdue QB Danny Ettling- a pass Doran Grant caught and returned for Ohio State’s first “pick six” of the season.
From that point on, there was no stopping the Buckeyes.
The Purdue offense...
