At this juncture it's getting a bit redundant to rip on the Iowa Hawkeyes, isn't it? We know their defense is good, special teams are solid and their offense...well...their offense is putrid.
Iowa's offense is embarrassingly bad this season. So bad, in fact, that the Hawkeyes' next opponent, No. 2 ranked Ohio State, has three players on its roster that have scored more touchdowns individually than Iowa has as a team this season.
No, this is not made up at all. This is real.

Iowa heads into this contest at 3-3 and on a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes are 6-0 and have arguably the best offense in the country. OSU is putting up 543.7 yards per game while scoring 48.8 points per contest.
Let's compare that to Iowa, shall we?
The Hawkeyes score just 14.7 points per game, which is the fourth worst points total in Division I college football. Iowa also averaged just 238.8 yards per game offensively, which is dead last in the nation.
We'll see if Iowa's defense can at least make this a game for a quarter or two, but this one seems to be heading towards a blowout.
