Ohio State running back Jordan Hall's Nike Pro Combat gloves were sold on ebay on Friday for $255.00. If I'm not mistaken (and I know I'm not), previously sold players' gear is what started the circus that forced former head coach Jim Tressel out of Columbus, former quarterback Terrelle Pryor out of college football and the program through the proverbial mud. Players sold their gear to pay for tattoos and other benefits. Those players that are still with the team were suspended for the first five games of this season.
These Pro Combat gloves were apparently worn by Ohio State running back Jordan Hall during the Buckeyes game against Michigan on November 27, 2010. Now, I'm not accusing Jordan Hall of selling his own gear, but this doesn't look good for O$U. After all, the ebay page says that the seller is located in New York, City, not Columbus, Ohio.
One minor coincidence (or maybe not so much) is that Hall is from Jeannette, Pennsylvania - the same hometown of Terrelle Pryor. Hall may know a thing or two about being a salesman.
