Ole Miss running back Dexter McCluster gave Mississippi fans a finale to remember, rushing for 182 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead 2-yard run on a direct snap with 4:03 left as the Rebels beat Oklahoma State (No. 19 BCS, No. 21 AP) 21-7 in the Cotton Bowl on Saturday. McCluster finally got to showcase what he can do and boy did he do it. he has speed to burn that is for sure. Ole Miss (9-4) had five turnovers in the game, but Oklahoma State had six in the fourth quarter, and seven overall.
Oklahoma State plain and simple turned the ball over to many times. You cannot expect to win when you turn the ball over that many times. Not being able to stop Dexter McCluster either sure did not help as well. I thought Oklahoma State had a chance in this game, but Ole Miss should they belonged in the Cotton Bowl and was the better team today.
