College football is all about tradition. It is one of the things that adds to the romance of the sport. Each school has something a little different from the other. It bonds young fans with the students and the alumni. Everyone learns the little intricacies and nuances, and it allows them to feel apart of. One thing that is big is what schools do between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Wisconsin’s student section busts out ‘Jump Around.’ They actually hold classes for freshman so that they can learn this. USC lights the Olympic Torch. Tennessee has a new tradition of having fewer points. Michigan fans leave between quarters. Wait, they don’t? Oh, they’re just really quiet. Could have fooled me. Oregon State is attempting to start a new tradition, and they are going balls to the wall with promoting it.
