Marc Givler received via text from Sprinkle his Buckeye commitment: “Elyria DE/DT #TracySprinkle has confirmed with me via text that he has committed to #OhioState”
Sprinkle is listed as a three star recruit by Rivals.com but held scholarship offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Michigan St., Penn State, and Pittsburgh.
Sprinkle did mention in an interview with eleven warriors writer Alex Gleitman that the Bobby Petrino scandal did have an affect on Sprinkle’s thinking. Shortly after the interview with Gleitman, Sprinkle verbaled to Ohio State.
