PLAYERS: Cameron Newton
TEAMS: Auburn Tigers
Who says you can’t go back again? Auburn Tigers legendary QB Cam Newton has returned to campus and enrolled in classes for the Spring Semester, according to Auburn spokesperson Kirk Sampson. Cam is going to being working hard on a sociology degree and cannot have any distractions from it as he needs to focus on his studies. Therefore, no media interviews. Cam just wants to a be a regular million dollar, Heisman Trophy winning, with his own statue on campus student. I always felt strange sitting in a classroom that had someone that was in their 30s or 40s. There isn’t anything abnormal about it, but it is a rarity at a really large school. So imagine sitting in your Anthropology class and Cam is sitting next to you. Some may argue that it was just two years ago that Newton was attending classes at Auburn, and to that I laugh. Cam Newton is back at Auburn to finish his degree

The current Carolina Panther quarterback and former Auburn Tiger is apparently back on campus to finish up his degree according to new head coach Gus Malzahn. Malzahn was Cam Newton’s offensive coordinator when Cam and the Auburn Tigers won the 2010 BCS National Championship Game over the Oregon Ducks. Happy to see my man Cam back at AU this semester working toward his degree....

Dee Liner decommitted from Auburn today

The Rivals 5 star recuit Dee Liner has apparently decommitted from the Auburn Tigers today according to Justin Hokanson. Auburn’s lackluster season definitely did not help Liner’s decision in this matter. Auburn was winless in the SEC and even lost to Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Gene Chizik was fired after the season and a whole new coaching staff was brought in. The strongside...

2013 Prospectus: Auburn Tigers

Auburn was one of two SEC teams in 2012 that failed to win a conference game. The Tigers went from winning the National Championship to winning just three games over the span of only two years. Because of that, Gene Chizik was dismissed and the Tigers are hoping to catch lightning in a bottle again as they bring in former OC Gus Malzhan to try and right the ship. Malzahn has...

Down to the wire for Wilkins

After Auburn let Gene Chizik go, Jordan Wilkins was not a strong commitment to the Tigers. He has since been in contact with a handful of schools and he likely will not know his final decision until February.

Tigers Add Talented Juco Athlete

Talented junior college athlete Nick Marshall committed to the Auburn Tigers on Monday and could play a number of different positions for Coach Gus Malzahn.
