LSU strength and conditioning coach Tommy Moffitt has a message for any NFL scouts who may inquire about the character of some of his players:Attention NFL Scouts: The following athletes miss workouts and always have an excuse. These men lack the self discipline and motivation to take care of their responsibilities. I will not answer questions regarding their performance numbers or character as they care only about themselves.At first glance, this probably seems like a pretty brutal and humiliating attempt at disparaging his players. But dig a little deeper and it appears as though the sign was a questionable attempt at motivating his players instead.Although the sign began surfacing on the internet Friday night, Moffitt claims that the message is "old news" and that it stems from the players missing a class.It looks like Moffitt's unusual techniques are paying off after all.Via Deadspin.

Les Miles is a coach that doesn't neccesary follow the norms of coaching and here is yet another example. He wanted to send a message to his team that would spark them to be better team players instead of selfish individuals. He listed all the players that didn't attend practice and always had an excuse. LSU Tigers coach Les Miles is not mincing words when it comes to telling it like it is about players he perceives as not taking care of their responsibilities to the football team. In fact, he isn’t saying anything at all.
