After two key drops in the first half against Florida Atlantic, true freshman WR Stacy Coley received some one on one mentorship on the sidelines from his veteran teammates on the offensive side of the ball for the Miami Hurricanes.  Coley dropped two passes during which time he was wide open.  One was a sure touchdown, the other could have been a 30 yard plus gain with room to run.  Stephen Morris, starting quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes simply told Coley to “relax.”  You can tell the true freshman is a bit anxious playing his first college game.   The post Photo: Stacy Coley Being Mentored Early at Under the Lights vs. FAU appeared first on CaneInsider | Miami Hurricanes Athletics and Recruiting.

FAU has epic brain fart at end of game

It was a rough night for the Florida Atlantic Owls against the Miami Hurricanes. They were trying to put something together late in the game, just to build on something in the first game of the year. Like you do in the hurry-up offense, you rush to the line to snap the ball and spike. But you typically do this on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down. Right? Right. Someone needs to pass that note...

Miami Football: The Beast Unleashed – Canes With Convincing, Yet Not Perfect Win on Opening Night
