Matt Barkley, USC quarterback (Photo/ AP) With less than 24 hours until the opening round of the much anticipated 2013 NFL Draft, we at Queen City Sports give you our final thoughts on what the Buffalo Bills will do with their first round pick, and some players they may target early.   Three players that have the highest probability to be drafted by the Bills with their first pick (8th overall) Ryan Talbot: (1) Ryan Nassib (2) Dee Milliner (3) Chance Warmack Mike Straw: (1) Ryan Nassib (2) Ezekiel Ansah (3) Chance Warmack Johnathan Snyder: (1) Matt Barkley (2) Ryan Nassib (3) Dee Milliner Mike Bundt: (1) Matt Barkley (2) Ryan Nassib (3) Tavon Austin   Three players that YOU personally would like to see the Bills draft with their first pick (8th overall) Ryan Talbot: (1) Dion Jordan / Geno Smith / Ryan Nassib (2) Jarvis Jones (3) Chance Warlock Mike Straw: (1) Geno Smith (2) Ezekiel Ansah (3) Tyler Eifert Johnathan Snyder: (1) Matt Barkley (2) Jarvis Jones (3) Dee Milliner / Ryan Nassib Mike Bundt: (1) Geno Smith (2) Matt Barkley (3) Tavon Austin   What WILL the Bills do with their first round pick? (Stay/trade up/trade down/etc) Ryan Talbot: Stay. Buffalo only has six picks so I can’t see the team moving up. Truthfully, I think Buffalo wants to trade down but it takes two to tango. If Lane Johnson is still on the board at eight the team may find an interested party. The same could be said if Warmack is gone and someone is desperate to acquire Cooper. Atlanta is rumored to want to move up, but that would be a big drop for the Bills. Mike Straw: I personally feel the Bills will pick at eight, and the pick will be a QB. Especially after the Jets acquired another first round pick. Johnathan Snyder: I think they will try and trade down but unfortunately there will not be many suitors so they will pick at eight.  They can’t go another year without picking a quarterback in the first round.  They won’t be able to sell this one to the fan-base again, especially after they have watched quarterbacks like Colin Kaepernick, Andy Dalton, and Russell Wilson succeed, all quarterbacks that they passed over.   What do YOU want the Bills to do with their first round pick? (stay/trade up/trade down/ etc) Ryan Talbot: Trade down UNLESS Geno Smith is on the board. Mike Straw: I want the Bills to pick a quarterback with the eighth pick. Johnathan Snyder: I just want the Bills to do the right thing and just take a quarterback in the first round and finally commit to a franchise guy.  They should take another quarterback later in the draft .  You can never have enough young talent and competition. Mike Bundt: I would ideally want the Bills to trade down but that won’t be possible.  If I was the Bills, I would make sure I draft the quarterback I want at #8 overall. You can’t risk letting your guy go off the board. Then, Buffalo can use their 2nd round pick on a wide receiver or another position of need. If the Bills feel Nassib or Barkley will fall to the later part of the first round, they can risk taking Austin at #8 and trade up to the later part of the 1st round to get the best quarterback remaining.   Who is your favorite player in the draft? Ryan Talbot: My favorite prospect is Chance Warmack. I personally think he’s a sure thing so I wouldn’t be opposed to the Bills taking him, but guard isn’t a sexy pick. Mike Straw: Dion Jordan Johnathan Snyder: Clearly my favorite player is Matt Barkley.  Being a USC fan makes that choice easy.  The blonde-haired kid can make magic happen in Buffalo. Mike Bundt: My favorite player is Ryan Nassib. I don’t think he’s the best quarterback available but it’s amazing how much he’s grown in his last three years at Syracuse under Doug Marrone. I didn’t even think he was deserving of getting drafted before his senior season and now he could possibly be a top-10 pick.   Feature photo courtesy of Buffalobills.com   The post QCS Draft Thoughts Less Than 24 Hours Away appeared first on Queen City Sports.

Orange Crush?: Bills Will Send Clear Message To Nassib At #8

© Mark Konezny-US PRESSWIRE It can go either way for Ryan Nassib Thursday night. He’ll either get passed over by his former college head coach and offensive coordinator or selected. It’s that simple and yet makes Thursday night that much more intriguing. I support and genuinely like the idea of Marrone, Hackett and Nassib. Not only do I like it because I predicted it would...

Will Ryan Nassib be the next addition to the QB Competition?

It's not a secret that the quarterbacks of this year's draft class are a lot less popular than last year's bunch. It's pretty much a mystery when we'll hear each of their names called. Some analysts, like Jon Gruden, have called former Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib, "the sleeper' of the QB group. His stock has risen in the past few months and his name...

NFL Bible: This Nassib Candidate or Why the Bills are Going to F*ck up the Draft

I’m not going to be the asshole who predicts it, but the Buffalo Bills may just draft Syracuse Quarterback Ryan Nassib in the top 10 selections of the 2013 NFL Draft. And they’re going to **** up the entire draft. The Bills suffered through yet again another subpar season as the team finished with a 6-10 record. Though it would be unfair to label their problems solely on their...

Bills, Marrone Passing on Nassib in NFL Draft is Best Thing for Syracuse

The Bills passing on Ryan Nassib is actually the best thing to happen to Syracuse football. Well, make it the second best thing. The greatest outcome of Buffalo and Doug Marrone taking the SU quarterback in the first round last night would’ve been an NFL dynasty. Had Nassib guided the Bills to multiple championships and grown into a Hall of Famer, the Orange braintrust would...
