Ramses Barden

I know that we all want Anquan Boldin to come to philly. It didn't work out last year and it might not work out this year. and then there is Chad Johnson and Braylon Edwards. Chad will most likely command at least a 2nd rounder and he may not be worth it depending on how many good years he has left. Edwards might demmand a first rounder and could be worth it but what if he comes to philly and all that potential isn't there anymore. So let's get to the draft. Crabtree just isn't going to be there and isn't even realistic. These other receivers just aren't tall enough. Darrius-Heyward Bay could maybe help us out, but we need big and strong. Kenny Britt could be there at the end of the 1st round 6'3 pretty big. He could work. But chances are one of those first round picks will be a tackle which means no runningback.Let's get our runningback and our tackle ok. Ramses Barden is 6'6 230lbs. He is a monster. McNabb really likes to throw it over receivers heads I would love to see him throw it out of this guys reach. He is physical, he can out jumo any db, he has great hands. Not a lot of speed, but you don't need to be fast at 6'6. How many times have we seen Plaxico Burress go overtop of our db's? You think Eli will be the same now without that nice little crutch. It wouldn't matter who your qb was if you can throw it up over a db's head you could easily do well with someone that tall. This guy is also most likley going to go in the 2nd round. Something the eagles would rather spend on a wide receiver and get this, he is from Cal Poly......same school as Desean Jackson. This guy is going to fly under most people's radar, but I think the Eagles take him in the 2nd round.
