The Ole Miss Rebels made another addition to their coaching staff on Wednesday, as former Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders quarterback Brent Stockstill is reportedly joining Lane Kiffin's crew as an offensive analyst, per FootballScoop.

Stockstill was the signal-caller for the Blue Raiders from 2013-18, and finished his collegiate career as one of the most decorated passers in MTSU history. Stockstill finished his time as the program's all-time leader in passing yards (12,495), touchdown passes (106), 300-yard passing games (19), 400-yard passing games (three), passing yards per game (277.7), completions (1,055) and attempts (1,610). Stockhill was a four-year letterman at MTSU who started in 44 games and was voted a team captain three times.

This will not be Stockstill's first rodeo with Kiffin, as the former Blue Raider worked as an offensive player personnel assistant in 2019 with the Florida Atlantic Owls under current Ole Miss offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. Stockhill also served as a quality control analyst under Weis in 2020 with the South Florida Bulls.

Stockstill returned to MTSU to become the team's new receivers coach in 2021, and served as its quarterbacks/passing game coordinator from 2022-23.

Stockstill returns to Kiffin's staff in 2024, but this time he will be looking to help Ole Miss achieve its first-ever college football playoff appearance. The Rebels will begin their 2024 campaign on Aug. 31 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium against the Furman Paladins, before hosting Stockstill's alma mater, MTSU, in Week 2 on Sept. 7.
