Rebels Hire Two New Analysts, Including Former Ole Miss Running Back Enrique Davis
USA TODAY Sports

The Ole Miss Rebels added two new analysts to their staff on Monday, including former Rebel running back Enrique Davis, On3 reported.

Davis, a running back from 2008-11 in Oxford, spent last season as the running backs coach at Western Kentucky. The other hire came in the form of Patrick Carter, a former Louisville and NFL wide receiver.

In his time in Oxford as a player, Davis rushed for 864 yards and eight touchdowns. He was a part of Ole Miss teams in 2008 and 2009 that won back-to-back Cotton Bowls, and he played his entire career under former head coach Houston Nutt, spanning his four years at the helm of the Rebels program.

Carter was in the realm of college football around the same time as Davis, playing for Louisville in 2006-07, and he had a professional career that spanned from 2008-11 with multiple practice squad stops. He did, however, make the full roster with the Miami Dolphins in 2011.

This news comes on the heels of another staff move involving Ole Miss, namely running backs coach Marquell Blackwell parting ways with Lane Kiffin's staff to join Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M. That news was reported on Monday, and you can read more here.
