USA TODAY Sports

DEC 8 MUKUBA TO VISIT OLE MISS Clemson Tigers defensive back Andrew Mukuba is in the transfer portal, and he has released the schools he plans to visit next week, he told On3.

Mukuba is set to visit Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, USC and Ole Miss next week, according to the report. He is a native of Austin, Texas, and he has played in 35 games at Clemson, earning ACC Rookie of the Year honors in 2021.

In 2023, he registered 45 tackles and two TFLs on a stout Clemson defense.

DEC 8 'JUICE' TO VISIT OLE MISS According to a report from On3, Antwane "Juice" Wells Jr. is scheduled to visit Ole Miss and Texas this weekend. It was also reported yesterday that the Rebels were making a "strong push" for the South Carolina wide receiver.

DEC 7 'JUICE' TO THE SIP? (NOT THE DOG) Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss have reportedly made a "strong push" for South Carolina Gamecocks portal wide receiver Antwane "Juice" Wells Jr., according to a report from On3.

It is stated that the Oregon Ducks are also hot on the receiver's trail, and the Tennessee Volunteers and Texas Longhorns are also in the mix.

Wells suffered a broken bone in his foot in 2023, and he only recorded three receptions before the injury. In 2022, however, he was named First-Team All-SEC by multiple outlets, and prior to suiting up for the Gamecocks, he played for the James Madison Dukes in 2020 and 2021.

DEC 6 KIFFIN HINTING AT BIG TIME TRANSFER? Lane Kiffin fired off a set of cryptic posts on Wednesday afternoon via X (formerly known as Twitter), and it appears Ole Miss' coach could be signaling at a big name commitment from the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Kiffin first posted a picture of a golf cart covered in South Carolina Gamecocks decals, as to possibly give a hint to his current location. In less than an hour, Kiffin quickly posted two cryptic gifs from the movie "Moneyball" - one showing an ecstatic Jonah Hill, and another of Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) explaining that "this is a process."

To make things even more interesting, Kiffin also reposted On3's announcement that former Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolan had officially entered the portal on Wednesday afternoon. According to On3, Nolan is rated as the No. 1 overall player in the portal in the 2024 cycle. The former-five star recruit was the No. 1 overall prospect in 2022.

DEC 5 OKLAHOMA DB VISITED REBELS The Rebels hosted another transfer on Tuesday, as former Oklahoma Sooners defensive back Key Lawerence reportedly visited Ole Miss, according to On3.

Lawerence has spent the last three seasons playing for Oklahoma where he recorded 149 tackles, 10 TFLs, one sack, three interceptions, and 12 pass breakups. Before that, however, he played his freshman season with the Tennessee Volunteers. The former four-star recruit was rated as the No. 5 safety and No. 1 player in Tennessee in the 2020 cycle.

DEC 5 'POOH' PAUL TO VISIT OLE MISS Transfer portal season is already heating up, and the Ole Miss Rebels appear to be in the mix for a good bit of proven talent.

Sources confirmed to Steven Willis of Locked On Ole Miss this week that Arkansas Razorbacks portal linebacker Chris "Pooh" Paul Jr. is set to visit Ole Miss this weekend. The Grove Report also independently verified this report, and, according to sources, Lane Kiffin visited Paul in Fayetteville on Monday. Paul announced his intent to enter the portal on Nov. 27, and he will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Beginning with four games played in the 2021 season, Paul has suited up in 28 games with the Razorbacks, registering 138 total tackles and six sacks so far in his collegiate career.

Along with Ole Miss, Paul holds offers from other notable schools such as the TCU Horned Frogs, Auburn Tigers, Missouri Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, and Texas A&M Aggies.

DEC 1 FRESHMAN TE REMAINING A REBEL Freshman tight end Jayvontay Conner recently announced that he is no longer entering the portal after announcing on Tuesday that he would be transferring out of Oxford.

"After much thought with family, also close ones. I will not be entering the transfer portal and will be remaining an Ole Miss Rebel. The opportunity is sky high and I’m looking forward to continuing my career here and continue building what we are building here. Hotty Toddy!!" -- Conner via X (formerly Twitter).

Conner was a three-star prospect in Ole Miss' 2023 recruitment class and will have three years of eligibility remaining unless he decides to use his Redshirt.

NOV 30 TWO MORE REBELS MAKE PORTAL ANNOUNCEMENTS Two more Ole Miss Rebels announced their intention to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal on Thursday night.

Junior kicker Caden Costa and sophomore tight end Kyirin Heath will both be entering the portal with two years eligibility remaining.

"Next chapter… Thank you Ole Miss," Costa posted via X.

This season, Heath hauled in four passes for 60 yards in seven games while Costa only attempted one field goal and six PATs in three contests. Costa served as a backup to Caden Davis who transferred to Ole Miss ahead of the 2023 season.

NOV 29 IN-STATE OFFICIAL VISIT Southern Miss offensive lineman Gerquan Scott is reportedly set to visit Ole Miss this weekend, according to On3. Scott was offered by the Rebels this week, according to his social media, and he is currently listed as a redshirt junior.

A native of Mobile, Ala., Scott played his prep ball at Davidson H.S., and he was also a teammate of current Rebels defensive lineman Cedric Johnson.

According to his posts on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, Scott has garnered interest from multiple programs around the country, including Auburn, South Carolina, Colorado, Vanderbilt and others.

NOV 28 TWO REBELS DEPART Two Ole Miss Rebels announced their intention to enter the transfer portal this week.

The first player, Isheem Young, is technically no longer a part of the Ole Miss program. Head coach Lane Kiffin revealed that information following his team's win over Texas A&M earlier this season, and he had previously noted that Young did not suit up against Vanderbilt due to disciplinary issues.

“I got one more year left of [college football]," Young posted. "I’ll be in the portal after I graduate in a couple weeks.”

"Isheem's not part of our program," Kiffin said after the Texas A&M game. "We wish him the best. We're just trying to get the guys ready that are here."

The second Rebel to announce his intent to transfer is freshman tight end Jayvontay Conner. Conner will have four years of eligibility remaining after being redshirted in the 2023 season.
