This is becoming more and more of a trend. And it really has to irk an NFL that has made a point of putting on a show during its annual draft.

After multiple top stars backed out of attending the draft last year, at least one of the top offensive players in the 2017 NFL Draft reportedly won’t be in attendance.

According to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, former Clemson standout Mike Williams has declined an invite to the event in Philadelphia, instead deciding to remain with his family.

Williams put up 98 receptions for 1,361 yards and 11 scores for the eventual national champion Tigers last season.

Depending on whom you ask, the wide receiver could go anywhere from the top five to the bottom of the first round in the draft later this month.

Miller has Williams as his ninth-best prospect and the No. 1 receiver on the board.
