The number one overall recruit, Robert Nkemdiche, committed to Clemson a few weeks ago, but still says it’s not a done deal. Clemson also has commitments from Nkemdiche’s Grayson High School teammates in running back Wayne Gallman and cornerback David Kamara, but Nkemdiche told the AJC that in order for Clemson to make it a “done deal”, they need to offer Grayson defensive back Ryan Carter. “I am waiting on Clemson to offer Ryan; when that happens, it’s locked … it’s a done deal … it’s over,” Nkemdiche told the AJC. If Clemson doesn’t offer Carter, who has offers from Ole Miss, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, and Tulane, will Nkemdiche actually follow through with his words and head to another school that will?
