I wasn't able to follow either of the Capitals' victories over the holiday weekend, so I perused some traditional print media coverage of the games this morning. Imagine my non-surprise, though, when I discovered that the most newsworthy-noteworthy coverage came from a blogger buddy who was in Nassau Coliseum yesterday. Pepper in the postgame put an innocent question about the Islanders' home ice quality to Caps' captain Chris Clark:"I tossed a softball to the baseball fan, expecting some diplomatic assent: 'I know a lot of people have talked about the Verizon Center ice.
