The No. 25-ranked Oklahoma women's tennis team hosts North Texas Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m., at the Gregg Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion. Less than one week after being picked second in the Big 12 by the league's coaches, Oklahoma was picked sixth in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 pre-season poll on Tuesday. The Sooners may have played their best game of the season Tuesday night. The crowd was louder than its been all season, too. But Baylor was also the best team OU has faced. OU was good, but Baylor was just a bit better and the Sooners fell 77-65 inside the Lloyd Noble Center.

If things go just right, Baylor's Perry Jones will talk to OU's Cameron Clark sometime before Tuesday's 7 p.m. tipoff. And hopefully -- for Sooner fans -- Jones will talk a bit of trash to the Sooner sophomore guard.
