Syracuse names Paulus starting QB

Sporting News staff reports Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone has picked Greg Paulus to be the Orange's starting quarterback. SUAthletics.com, the official web site for the university's athletic department, is reporting that the former Duke point guard beat out sophomore Ryan Nassib, senior Cam Dantley and freshman Charley Loeb for the starting position. After exhausting four years of basketball eligibility with the Blue Devils, Paulus is using his fifth year of athletic eligibility as a graduate student.
