The TCU Horned Frogs, who led the Big 12 in total defense, suffered a big loss Monday when defensive end Stansly Maponga elected to skip his senior season and head to the NFL Draft according to a source. The 6-2, 265-pound Maponga missed two games for TCU because of an injury but was still selected to the All Big 12 First team by the coaches and the second team by the Associated Press. Maponga had 22 tackles and 2 sacks for the Frogs. Maponga started 12 games as a freshman and was an all-Mountain West Conference first teamer as a sophomore.
