PLAYERS: Marquez North
Tennessee Volunteers freshman wide receiver Marques North made an incredible one-handed catch with a South Carolina defender draped all over him during Saturday's 23-21 upset victory in Knoxville. The play came on 3rd and 10 from the Tennessee 35-yard line on the game's final drive with under three minutes left in the game. North caught the 39-yard pass from QB Justin Worley with his left hand despite having cornerback Ahmad Christian's arm caught between his arm and the ball. Kudos to North and his amazing concentration and focus at a time when his team needed it most. The play kept Tennessee's final drive going, which ended with Michael Palardy kicking a last-second 19-yard field goal to close out the victory. H/T Dr. Saturday.
