Tennessee WR Squirrel White quenched a lot of thirst with touchdown vs. UConn
Brianna Paciorka/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

It's been a virtual traffic jam on Saturday for the men in orange and white in Neyland Stadium's checkerboard end zones, as the Vols have jumped out to a 35-3 halftime lead behind a number of splash plays.  However, there is one play that will likely end up as many fans' favorite once the day is over.

WR Squirrel White hauled in an 82-yard touchdown from QB Joe Milton in the second quarter to extend the Vols' lead to 28-3.  White ran a deep in route, and Milton threw an absolutely perfect ball that hit the Vols' slot receiver in stride.  White crossed the field, sprinted up the sideline, and beat the UConn defenders to the end zone.

The play was a sweet one for Vol fans, as it entitled them to go to their local Weigel's and pick up a six pack of Coca Cola.  Pursuant to Weigel's NIL agreement with White this season, that's the payoff for fans who have a registered Weigel's rewards account.

The touchdown was White's second of the season, but more importantly it was another step in Tennessee's passing attack beginning to gel during the second half of the season.

As such, Vol fans could have a few more days this fall where they're able to score some free Coca Cola thanks to a resurgent Vols offense and a great NIL deal.
