PLAYERS: Johnny Manziel
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field, in Oxford, Mississippi just played host to one of the best games of the season and another Heisman moment for superstar and current Heisman holder Johnny Manziel. Texas A&M wins over Ole Miss (41-38) in a last second thrill ride. Johnny “OVO” Manziel lead a late game-winning drive over Ole Miss and fought back time after time after being let down by his defense and his self with a late game fumble. Johnny had  another Heisman performance, with 346 passing (31-39), 124 rushing and 2 clutch TDs. Johnny Football utilized his weapons and his run game was on point tonight led by Malena, Tra Crason and Trey Williams. Mike Evans was neutralized tonight but Travis Labhart emerged with 8 receptions and 97 yards. Mark Synder and the defense struggled like they have all season and are young and seemed to be improving but they took a step back tonight. The Aggies are going to have to simply out execute and out scoring their opponents the rest of the season. Texas A&M kicker Josh Lambo hit a 33 yard field goal as time expired to cap off the performance by TAMU. Ole Miss led by Hugh Freeze is an up and coming program that really needed this win but couldn’t quite pull it off. Robert Nkemdiche left the game with a hamstring injury and that slowed down the defense even more tonight. Wallace and Brunetti were rotating in and out all night and did a pretty good job, the skill position talent that the Rebels have is top-notch even in the SEC. Laquon Treadwell and Jaylen Walton did a great job at terrorizing the secondary and Ole Miss looked better than they have in the previous two-week versus Alabama and Auburn. Ole Miss is a couple of years away possibly from being a serious threat in the SEC as of now they’ll have to take a backseat to Texas A&M and the other powerhouse names in the conference. Ole Miss drops to (3-3) and takes on LSU next Saturday. Texas A&M improves to (5-1) and faces Auburn back at Kyle Field.   For more follow me on twitter @donjamessports The post Texas A&M aka The Road Warriors appeared first on UTSN - The Universal Takeover Sports Network.

Bo Wallace's Johnny Manziel Impersonation Makes Johnny Football Smile (and curse)

The Ole Miss/Texas A&M game as a heck of a contest last season and it appears that it is going to be the same this year as well. For much of the game the Aggies appeared to be in control, but the Ole Miss offense has been getting the job done in the second half. Like on this play where Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace looks like Johnny Football with the Houdini-like scramble...

Johnny Manziel Deserves Serious Heisman Consideration, Not Lip Service

Don’t look now, but Johnny Manziel could be on the verge of history. The most polarizing figure in college football, fresh off a Heisman Trophy winning season and a scandal ridden offseason, should be on track to collect his second consecutive Heisman Trophy — joining only Archie Griffin as a two-time winner. The problem is, nobody seems to notice what he’s doing on the field...

Due to a scheduling quirk, for the second straight year Texas A&M traveled to Oxford to take on Ole Miss. Would that be the medicine that the Rebels needed after two straight road losses...

Johnny Manziel Pulls the Magic Out Again to Lead Texas A&M Over Ole Miss

For awhile it was not looking good for the Aggies. The defense was having a hard time stopping Bo Wallace and the Ole Miss offense in the second half. The A&M offense briefly sputtered giving the Rebels a chance to take the lead in the fourth quarter. With time ticking away it became a game of who had the ball last. Lucky for the Texas A&M faithful that happened to...

Mississippi tries to slow No. 9 Texas A&M, Manziel

Mississippi coach Hugh Freeze is trying to think of some creative ways to stop Texas A&M's prolific duo of Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans. He admits it's not easy. Nobody's been able to do it so far. Manziel is having a stellar encore season after winning the Heisman Trophy, completing 71.4 percent of his passes for 1,489 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions...

Heisman Watch Week Seven: Contenders Step Up When Needed

Johnny Manziel On a Saturday full of upsets Johnny Manziel led Texas A&M past an upset bid of their own from Ole Miss. Though his performance wasn’t one for the record books, or anything quite close to that, his two rushing touchdowns and yet another 300-plus yard game through the air was enough to lift the Aggies to victory, which was all the more important on this Saturday...

Can The Rebels Stop Johnny Football? (Game Thread)
