Hardcourt's Blog:
People doubt wether Celek will be a no. 1 TE, but if you look at what he did this year as a backup, he could. I mean Philly needs another TE, but Celek is a starter, and could be a dangerous threat to other teams next year. In the season alone he had 27 receptions for 318 yards and 1 touchdown. And in the playoffs he had 19 receptions for 151 yards ( had 3 touchdowns as well). This guy has the potential, if he had the blocking skills, to become a Tony Gonzalez or Jason Witten. I'm not saying Philly shouldn't draft a TE, cause thats a need for them. I'm saying It just doesn't have to be Brandon Pettigrew. Celeks good, and would be a great starting TE for the Eagles.
