And here you figured Honey Badger wasn’t really going to enroll in class at LSU and actually attend class. Wrong (at least for the first week.) Here is the legendary weed toker getting comfortable in his element. Notice the level of preparation: notebook, ink pen, surfing the Internet. Will the Honey Badger just run and hide at some FCS school just to play football? Absolutely not.
Head down. School time!

Seems that all the Honey Badger needed was weed rehab. Can’t say we really like this version of the Badger. It’s as if he suddenly cares – too much.
The LSU student newspaper snagged an interview on Tuesday with the Honey Badger in his God Less America shirt.
Fresh off a stint at the Right Step recovery center in Houston, where he was mentored by former NBA star and recovered drug addict John Lucas, Mathieu credited his stay with steering h...

Former LSU safety Chad Jones is working to get back to the NFL. Jones was drafted in the 3rd round by the New York Giants, but tragically saw his chances of playing in the NFL diminish after he was involved in a horrific accident in New Orleans. Jones’ tire caught on one of the trolley tracks that run parallel with the road and whipped into a pole that didn’t have any give...

LSU dismissed its starting corner back, Tyrann Mathieu, from its football team on August 10th, for a violation of team and school rules. Mathieu then enrolled in a Houston rehab center in lieu of transferring to another school.
Mathieu was not kicked out of LSU and has since re-enrolled at the school. The Honey Badger was spotted in class a few days ago and then at LSU’s game...
The LSU Tigers are currently up 34-3 in the 3rd quarter and it doesn’t appear they are slowing down. Running back Spencer Ware has had a great game after being a no-show last week due to a thigh injury.
When Tyrann Mathieu checked into rehab last month we speculated that he'd be back in a Tigers uniform before everything was said and done. The Honey Badger certainly has a long way to go before donning purple and gold again, but he took a huge step this week, enrolling in classes for the fall semester. Mathieu completed the "treatment phase" at the Right Step rehab...
(Baton Rouge, LA) - Alfred Blue's explosive runs were too tough for Washington to handle and the rest of LSU's running backs made it a really long night for the overmatched Huskies. Blue rushed for 101 yards, including a 21-yard score, and No. 3 LSU racked up 242 yards on the ground in a 41-3 victory over Washington on Saturday night.
There have been plenty of players in LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu's position. In the college football universe, team-enforced suspensions of star players have become as common as the twinkling lights suspended in the night sky. Not as common are the decisions made like that by Mathieu, who surprised many by deciding to stay at LSU after the Tigers dismissed him for repeated failed...
