The Tailgater crew is back for another season of college football coverage, and it feels like it has been way too long since Alabama was routing Notre Dame for the penultimate BCS crown. I’m here for a fifth season of coverage with John Mitchell and Zach Bigalke, firing up the grill and cracking a brew as we take a look at how we have the top teams stacked up before the season kicks off.

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher remained tight-lipped Wednesday about who will be the Seminoles starting quarterback.

Florida State's leading receiver, junior Rashad Greene, walked off the practice field on Monday afternoon with what appeared to be an injury to his left hand.

Florida State’s top returning receiver, junior Rashad Greene, left today’s practice with an apparent hand injury. Rumors are swirling that Greene has broken his left hand. If so, he will be out indefinitely, which would be a big blow to the Seminoles’ offense this season. Florida State has yet to clarify the extent of the injury.
