With a big matchup with Florida State looming next week, the Clemson Tigers won't have their 2nd-leading wide receiver Germone Hopper on the field Saturday for a tune-up against Boston College.
Hopper, along with DB Ronald Geohaghan were suspended for a “violation of unspecified team rules,” the team announced via a press release.
The violation was not specified, but head coach Dabo Swinney added the description of "poor behavior" in his statement.
Per John Taylor, PFT: ' The release did not specify whether the suspensions were for just the BC game or if they would bleed into the Oct. 19 game against the Seminoles. The redshirt freshman Hopper is currently second on the team in receptions with 16 and is fifth in receiving yards with 117. His two touchdown receptions are tied for third. '
