Found September 24, 2013 on College Spun:
Earlier today, Penn State’s football program received great news – the NCAA will be reducing the scholarship sanctions stemming from the Jerry Sandusky scandal against the Nittany Lions, and may possibly reduce the four-year bowl ban, as well. The news didn’t sit very well with USC AD Pat Haden, who joked on Twitter that he too would “love to have some scholarships” back. The Trojans, if you remember, were handed down some pretty strong penalties as well as a result of the scandal involving, among others, Reggie Bush and O.J. Mayo. Now we’re hearing from USC football coach Lane Kiffin – he’s chimed in on the social media medium as well: Congrats to Coach Bill O’Brien and his team! — Lane Kiffin (@Lane_Kiffin) September 24, 2013 Something tells me Kiffin might have a sarcastic side… Maybe this will help him win Trojans fans back?
