In Coach Orgeron’s first game as the interim head coach of the USC football team, he went straight to work and made sure the Trojans get back to their winning ways.
He did just that. The Trojans won the game 38-31 and put on an exciting performance that fans have been waiting for since the Pete Carroll era.
What I found most interesting about yesterday’s game was the way offensive coordinator Clay Helton and interim head coach Orgeron implemented the running backs throughout the game. During Kiffin’s era at USC, a lot of the focus was on the passing game which was quite successful due to Matt Barkley, Robert Woods and Marqise Lee. However, last night, the showcase of the running game was truly impressive.
The USC football team has six scholarship running backs on their roster and five of them got the opportunity to take the field and run the ball.
Silas Redd, Tre Madden, Justin Davis, Ty Isaac and Javorius Allen all took snaps during last night’s game. The only scholarship running b...

Guess it didn't take long for USC to move on from the Lane Kiffin era.
Just a little over two and a half minutes into USC's matchup Thursday against Arizona, quarterback Cody Kessler dropped back, set his feet, and threw the monstrous 62-yard touchdown pass you see above to wide receiver Nelson Agholor, giving the Trojans an early lead and a hungry Coliseum crowd something...
This is B1G. It’s very B1G. Thursday night during Arizona’s game against USC, this flag was spotted on the ‘Zona sideline. Guess it is more difficult for players to actually pay attention to the game and understand that “hey, it’s 3rd and 12 and we may be needed for a punt on the next play”. I imagine that these will start showing up at GameDay and in the stands soon...
