USC Football: Star Safety From UCLA Commits to USC
USA TODAY Sports

The USC Trojans continue to get better on the defensive side of the ball. The team landed a huge defensive coordinator when D'Anton Lynn decided to leave UCLA for the Trojans.

Landing Lynn was coupled with the recent additions of Mike Entz from North Dakota State and Doug Belk from Houston.

Though adding coaches is one thing, the Trojans just landed a huge transfer portal acquisition. Former UCLA Bruin Kamari Ramsey has officially revealed that he has committed to USC, reuniting him with D'Anton Lynn.

Ramsey comes in as the #2 ranked safety from the transfer portal. Ramsey ended his 2023 campaign with 27 solo tackles, 1 INT, and 4 PD.

The Trojans have made it a huge point to improve their defensive output for the 2024 season, as they head to the Big Ten Conference.

Adding Ramsey is massive, and he will come over and make an immediate impact on the big plays that were the bane of the Trojans' existence through the 2023 season.

Ramsey will now be under the tutelage of Doug Belk, who was brought on as the defensive backs coach.
