Florida sophomore receiver Andre Debose spoke with the media Tuesday and touched on a variety of subjects. Debose has been the gators biggest play maker from the receiver position this fall and seems content to do what he can as the offense tries to mature around a new system that may require different personnel. He certainly expects more of himself and the offense in the future.

When John Brantley filed off the field after Florida’s win over Vanderbilt on Saturday, the focus shifted to a different injury for the senior quarterback. He exited the field with ice wrapped around his right bicep. Just as the ankle felt like it was getting close to full health, a hit from a Vanderbilt defender turned his attention to a new injury.
Herc and I were at it again, this time discussing a Florida win in this week's episode of Swamp Talk. The Gators took Vanderbilt to the woodshed for their beating; you know, if a woodshed beating consists of a five-point win. There's hardly a break though as Florida moves on to South Carolina and another tough battle. With two of the final three regular season games against...
The Gators haven’t lost back-to-back matchups to the Gamecocks since 1936 and ’39, and they’re hoping to keep it that way when they head into Columbia this weekend. Florida offensive lineman Kyle Koehne understands that the Gators will have to play well against a very talented, yet wounded opponent in order to get a win.
The injuries haven’t crept up on offensive tackle Matt Patchan this season, allowing him to be one of the most consistent offensive linemen for the Gators this year. He’s just as surprised as most that the injuries are gone. After random injuries, like being shot before the 2008 season, have kept him out, Patchan has stayed positive through it all.
This is a preview of this Saturday's SEC East matchup between the Florida Gators and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Florida might have the most talented backcourt in the SEC this year. Senior point guard Erving Walker and shooting guard Kenny Boynton are back, and both made the coaches’ all-conference team.
It is slightly misleading because the all-conference has eight guys on it. Despite that, the SEC plans to keep basketball as a 5-on-5 sport for at least the next two seasons.
Florida coach Billy Donovan has had plenty of success with relatively thin backcourts.
He won consecutive national championships with guards Taurean Green and Lee Humphrey playing nearly entire games, and he advanced to the NCAA tournament the last two years with Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker handling much of the workload.
Donovan monitored minutes, worried about fouls and couldn...
The Gators head to Columbia this weekend already out of the race for the SEC East, but that doesn’t mean they’ve lost focus. They get to play spoiler this weekend against South Carolina, who is fighting for a berth in the SEC Championship game. Florida head coach Will Muschamp talked about facing Steve Spurrier and his team’s injuries on Wednesday.
