The Washington Huskies really have invested in their quarterback of the future. They have “unofficially” accepted a commitment from a eighth grade signal-caller named Tate Martell from San Diego, California.

The University of Washington offered a scholarship to 14-year-old quarterback Tate Martell three weeks ago. The eigth-grader decided he would commit to coach Steve Sarkisian and the Huskies on Wednesday, reports ESPN.
The 14-year-old Martell will have to wait until Feb. 1, 2017 to sign a national letter of intent.
