Watch: 2024 Syracuse Orange Spring Football Game

It is a new era of Syracuse football with new head coach Fran Brown taking the reins, and Ohio State transfer quarterback Kyle McCord leading the team on the field. Syracuse fans are excited for this new era as shown by a record-high 16,579 tickets given out for the AmeriCu Spring Game. While only playing one half of football, McCord put on a show, completing 18 of 28 passes for 242 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Trebor Pena caught seven passes for 130 yards. The Orange also moved the ball well on the ground, with returning running back LeQuint Allen running the ball six times for 73 yards and two touchdowns, while freshman Yasin Willis had 91 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in his debut in front of 'Cuse fans.
