Watch: 2024 Virginia Tech Spring Football Game

The Virginia Tech Hokies held their annual "Maroon and Orange" spring football game on April 13, 2024. The Maroon team won a closely-contested game, 21-14, largely behind strong performances by quarterback Kyron Drones and running back P.J. Prioleau. Drones finished the game 6-10 for 122 yards with 2 TD passes while Prioleau had 62 yards, including a 31-yard touchdown run. Prioleau also scored on a 22-yard pass from Drones. Keyshawn Burgos and James Jennette led the Maroon team's defensive effort as Burgos finished the game with 3 sacks, a fumble recovery and a tipped pass that led to an interception and Jennette tallied 4 solo tackles, 3 tackles for loss and a sack. The Orange team was led by William "Pop" Watson's 13-21, 130-yard performance and Jeremiah Coney's 81-yard rushing day.
