James Williams was one of the individual bright spots on the Miami Hurricanes' defense in 2022. He along with Kam Kinchens formed the highest-graded coverage safety duo on Pro Football Focus, with Williams having an 88.5 coverage grade. For the season he had 58.0 tackles, six pass breakups, and an interception. A lot is expected of James Williams as he heads into his Junior season.
