Watch: Georgia's 340-pound nose tackle Jordan Davis rushes for touchdown

The Georgia Bulldogs have steamrolled every opponent on their 2021 schedule and tried to literally steamroll Charleston Southern in the first quarter on Saturday.

Georgia brought in 340-pound nose tackle Jordan Davis for an offensive play near the goal line and let the senior plow through the defensive line for his first career touchdown.

Davis is one of three finalists for the Bronco Nagurski Trophy, recognizing the top defensive player in the nation, for his performance anchoring the top defense in the country. The 6'6 nose tackle has mostly pedestrian stats in 2021 (two sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss), but the attention he requires from opposing offenses has played a significant role in the Bulldogs allowing less than eight points per game.

Only six players have better odds than Davis of winning the Heisman Trophy on BetMGM, despite Charles Woodson being the only primarily defensive player to ever win the award.

ESPN's Todd McShay says Davis is the best defensive tackle and No. 21 overall prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft class.
