On Saturday night, Liberty improved to 4-1 on the season, knocking off Old Dominion in a high-scoring affair, 38-24.
While the two teams combined for eight touchdowns, one score stood out above the rest.
Just minutes into the game, Liberty wide receiver Jaivian Lofton put in his nomination for catch of the year.
On Liberty's first offensive play of the day, quarterback Kaidon Salter rolled to his right, throwing on the run to connect with Lofton on a 34-yard touchdown. Only this was no ordinary touchdown grab.
With a defender draped all over him, Lofton reached back with his right hand and snatched the ball out of the air for six points.

While Liberty's air attack was on full display against Old Dominion, their rushing attack led the way. Sophomore Dae Dae Hunter ran for 121 yards with two touchdowns off 15 carries in the victory.
Liberty will look to move to 5-1 next Saturday when they travel to take on UMass (1-4) at 3:30 p.m.
