Watch: Rutgers scores in opening minute of Jim Harbaugh's return at Michigan

Jim Harbaugh might want to go back on vacation.

One minute into No. 2 Michigan's home Big Ten opener against Rutgers (3-0), Scarlet Knights quarterback Gavin Wimsatt connected with wide receiver Christian Dremel on a 69-yard touchdown on the game's third play from scrimmage to give Rutgers an early 7-0 lead.

Dremel caught the pass on a slant route at his own 39-yard line and took the ball to the house in a stunning turn.

Harbaugh served a school-sanctioned three-game suspension to start the season following an NCAA investigation into recruiting violations during the COVID-19 dead period.

The rules of his suspension allowed Harbaugh to remain with the team during the week and only restricted him from coaching on gameday. Still, per The Athletic, defensive lineman Jaylen Harrell noted, "It's just a little more juice in the building," after Harbaugh completed his suspension.

The Wolverines must tap into that reservoir to avoid making his return into a disaster.

"Hopefully we can keep this a little bit short because there's so much to do," Harbaugh said during a news conference upon his return.

Based on Michigan's terrible start to Week 4, he wasn't lying.
