Central Florida quarterback Timmy McClain was responsible for one of the most jaw-dropping plays of the college football season on Saturday when he converted a late fourth down play that initially saw him scramble from his own 30-yard line to deep into his own end zone.
He successfully avoided the Baylor pass rush, stepped out of tackles and somehow found enough time to deliver a strike to RJ Harvey for a 16-yard gain and a first down.
Honestly, words cannot do the play justice.
You just need to watch the madness for yourself.

UCF was trailing by one point at the time and managed to get itself into the fringes of field goal range, giving kicker Colton Boomer a chance for a game-winning 59-yard field goal. He missed it both short and wide, allowing Baylor to sneak away with a 36-35 win.
The missed field goal is not really the big missed opportunity here for UCF. Even NFL kickers would struggle to make a 59-yard field goal with the game on the line, so Boomer should not get much blame for the loss.
The missed opportunity for UCF was the fact it gave up 26 fourth-quarter points (and was outscored 26-0 in the fourth quarter) to let what had been a 35-7 lead slip away.
