Virginia Tech defeated Boston College 30-16 in the 2007 ACC Championship Game. Hokies' quarterback Sean Glennon was named the game's MVP by completing 18-27 for 174 passing yards and three touchdowns. In typical Virginia Tech fashion, the Hokies had two big special teams plays, blocking a field goal and blocking an extra point, and then returning it 75 yards for a defensive two-point conversion. Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan had 305 passing yards and a rushing touchdown.
