All Louisville fans have been hearing in regards to the conference realignment is that football and television markets are the only things that matter. When you look Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and Connecticut making the jump to the ACC, you begin to wonder why they would want some of those schools, but not Louisville? Louisville’s basketball program brings in more revenue than any other program in the country. When you look at the last ten years of college football, Louisville has been more successful than any of those four teams outside of West Virginia. There is no question that Louisville could compete in every sport in the ACC.
