Why the AP poll is complete BS

Found October 14, 2007 on msn.foxsports.com:
USC loses at home and they fall from #2 to #7, Cal loses on the road and they fall from #2 to #10. Michigan loses to App St and they fall out of the top 25 altogether. Now that both LSU and Cal lost, Ohio State is #1 and USF is #2 What gives? Who knows, anytime you let coaches and writers decide anything chaos will follow.

  • I have no clue where you got USC being #7, they dropped to #10 when they lost to Stanford at home and now they are at #13 in AP and #14 in BCS. Cal is now #12 in BCS and #10 in AP.

    Michigan also dropped out of the polls because of the drastic changes the polls get after the first week, remember those are PRESEASON poll. Plus, did you not know App State was a D-2 school?

    And also, keep in mind USF and Ohio State are dominating in wins, not squeeking by and remaining undefeated. Yes, its something no one expected, but your article makes NO SENSE AT ALL.
