The Wisconsin football program will welcome a three-star EDGE rusher on an official visit during the first weekend in June.
Jayden Loftin, a New Jersey native, took to social media to announce he locked in the visit.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what Madison has to offer,” Loftin told Badgernotes. “The coaches seem dope, and I’m looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone.”
According to the composite rankings, Loftin is the No. 754 player in the country, the No. 56 EDGE, and the No. 24 player in New Jersey.
Wisconsin extended an offer to Loftin just over a month ago, but the three-star pass rusher still included UW in his top seven, listing the Badgers alongside Penn State, Minnesota, Tennessee, South Carolina, Syracuse, and West Virginia.
Though Wisconsin has been in the race for a short time, the program still stands out to Loftin due to the Badgers’ pedigree.
“They have a good track record. One of the greats went there in J.J. Watt, so that opened my eyes.”
In his junior season at Somerville High School, the 6-foot-2, 235-pound EDGE rusher recorded 33 tackles, 8.0 TFLs, 5.5 sacks, and an interception.
The New Jersey native doesn’t have a decision date lined up just yet, and he’ll take his recruitment day by day, but he mentioned what the most important thing to him would be when deciding where he will play college ball.
“I just want it to feel like home. I want to be able to thrive there on and off the field,” Loftin said.
As it stands, Wisconsin holds two commitments from outside linebackers Brenden Anes and Samuel Lateju in the 2025 recruiting class. The Badgers hold eight commitments in total, good for the No. 19 class in the country.
