The Wisconsin football program has lost yet another player to the portal in the spring window.

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Tommy McIntosh has entered his name into the transfer portal after two seasons with the Badgers.

“Thank you to Coach Chryst and Coach Fickell for the opportunity to be a part of the Badgers Football legacy,” McIntosh wrote. “I am forever grateful for my time at Camp Randall and for all the lessons it has taught me. After a difficult decision, I have opted to move on and pursue other football opportunities.”

McIntosh will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next stop.

The Michigan native joined the Badgers as a part of the 2022 recruiting class. He was rated as a three-star recruit and chose UW over offers from Iowa, Indiana, Texas, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, and Utah, among several others.

McIntosh did not see game action during his two seasons with the Badgers. He reportedly had a good spring in 2023, but he wasn’t able to vault his way into the top group.

The Badgers will now be without two receivers in 2024, with Chimere Dike transferring to Florida in January and McIntosh entering the portal. However, UW will have its top receiving contributors returning this season in Will Pauling and Bryson Green, with CJ Williams, Vinny Anthony, Trech Kekahuna, and others also in the mix.

McIntosh joins Nick Evers, TJ Bollers, Gabe Kirschke and Mike Jarvis as former Wisconsin football players to enter their names into the portal during the spring window.
