Gators' Debose turns out to be letdown
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- It no doubt wasn't fair for former Florida coach Urban Meyer to compare receiver Andre Debose to Percy Harvin before he even stepped on campus.
Harvin was one of the top playmakers in school history. He turned short passes into huge gains, made defenders look silly with open-field moves and probably would have been a Heisman Trophy contender had he...

Coaches Look To Andre Debose To Step Up And Perform In 2012
The Florida Gators coaches are hoping for big things from wide receiver Andre Debose in 2012. In order for him to get there, he’ll need to find consistency to his play and be able to keep himself on the field.
Debose has been labeled a star-in-waiting since before he committed to Florida. He was dubbed the next Percy Harvin, an unfair comparison for anyone but the first Percy Harvin...
Alabama fan invades Gainesville to say Roll Tide on his iPad
What’s the best way to troll a school after you’ve just won the BCS National Championship? Obviously it’s to drive down to Gainesville, grab your iPad and shaker, put on your Crimson colors, and take a picture with Florida’s “Bull Gator”. Alabama has basically dominated Florida after the 2008 SEC Championship and destroyed Florida last year in The Swamp after an initial...

Video: Debose Talks About the Offense
Florida sophomore receiver Andre Debose spoke with the media Tuesday and touched on a variety of subjects. Debose has been the gators biggest play maker from the receiver position this fall and seems content to do what he can as the offense tries to mature around a new system that may require different personnel. He certainly expects more of himself and the offense in the future.
