With December 27th looming for the XFL’s Phase 1 dispersal draft many XFL players from the Four “dormant” franchises will sit feverishly by their phone waiting for a call that their careers will remain active for the 2024 season.
After crossing the midway point of the XFL season, the XFL saw the professional debuts of QB’s Jawon Pass and Kurt Benkert, with possibly the final performance of the XFL season from Kyle Sloter, who after starting his 4th game of the season was released from the Renegades.

On Tuesday, the XFL began the first phase of their draft process by assigning quarterbacks to each of the league’s eight teams. Every team (with the exception of DC) was given two signal-callers, although it’s safe to assume that more will be added in both the open rounds of the draft and the weeks leading up to kickoff.
The XFL this week is holding its draft ahead of the 2023 season, and there are many familiar names already part of the league.
Brandon Silvers is another notable QB off the unemployment line joining Jamal Andrerson’s FCF Team The Kingpins. The FCF has continued to draw NFL/Professional level talent as before week 3 the league signed Martavis and Kelly Bryant, who both played in Week 3.
