Former Eagles playmaker returns to football (in a much different role)

Jordan Matthews is back in football, just this time he's on the sidelines (or maybe in the coach's booth). After his release from the Panthers in May, Matthews appears to be hanging up his cleats and putting on the coach's headset, as the former Eagle will join Vanderbilt's coaching staff for the final portion of the college football season.

Former Tennessee Vols defender lands with the Vanderbilt Commodores

Earlier this month, Tennessee Vols redshirt freshman cornerback Jordan Matthews entered the NCAA transfer portal.  On Wednesday, Matthews committed to the Vanderbilt Commodores.  Matthews, 6-foot-2/182 lbs from Baton Rouge, LA, signed with Tennessee as a four-star recruit.
