Announcer Appropriately Flubs The Name of The TicketCity Bowl
That’s right folks, Penn State played in the “Ticket ****** Bowl” according to this announcer!
In this clip, a commentator for the 2012 Ticket City Bowl incorrectly renames the bowl game between the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Houston Cougars. Maybe subconsciously this guy was affected by the infamous Penn State scandal and let this funny flub slip out of...

C-USA championship out of reach for Keenum
HOUSTON Back in August, when the knee was still sore and the jubilation of getting the sixth season was still fresh, it was all in front of Case Keenum.
The records. The BCS. The Heisman. It would take something extraordinary to get all that, but it was possible. Yet Keenum, granted a sixth season by the NCAA after blowing out his knee last year, did not allow himself to dream...

Case for Keenum and Houston
There are only two unbeaten teams in the country, and Kevin Sumlin’s Houston Cougars is one of those teams. Sumlin’s Qb is also on the verge of making a trip to New York for the Heisman presentation. It’s pretty obvious that Houston should be in a BCS bowl, but there are some out there that think they shouldn’t because of the conference they play in.
Case for Keenum...

Houston's 37-7 victory over SMU a 'tough win'
HOUSTON It has come down to characterizing a 30-point win as a big test. A 500-yard offensive day is a grind. A "championship drive" is one in which you push the score from 23-7 to 30-7.
"It gave us coaches a chance to yell at some guys," Houston coach Kevin Sumlin said.
He said this about a 37-7 win over SMU (6-5, 4-3 Conference USA) for his 10th-ranked Cougars on Saturday...

VID: Lee Corso drops an F-Bomb on College Gameday
Lee Corso has had a little less of a filter lately.
This morning, when trying to choose between the SMU Mustangs and the Houston Cougars, in a matchup that could have some substantial BCS implications, Corso dropped a nice little F-bomb on live TV.
As he picks up the megaphone to start the “USA” cheer for SMU, due to their red, white, and blue, he switches over...

Houston QB Case Keenum sets all-time NCAA passing record
As you might already know, we’re big fans of University of Houston quarterback Case Keenum around the Network and believe he’s one of the country’s most underrated quarterbacks.
Today’s performance by Keenum is another reason why.
In leading the Cougars to a dominant 56-13 win over the UAB Blazers, and throwing for 400+ yards and two touchdowns (and running...

HE RESTS HIS CASE
Houston QB throws for 534 yds., 9 TDs
Case Keenum is no stranger to gaudy numbers, but the 534-yard, 9-touchdown performance he put up in the University of Houston's 73-34 win over Rice is mind-boggling.

Houston’s Keenum becomes NCAA’s all-time leader in total offense
Houston senior quarterback, Case Keenum, became the NCAA’s all-time leader in total offense after Saturday’s 171 yard first quarter passing against Marshall.
Keenum, needing only 130 yards to beat the previous record of 16,910 yards held by Hawaii’s Timmy Chang, stood at 16,952 career offensive yards after the first quarter. He broke the record on a 30-yard pass to Justin...

Will Big 12 turn to University of Houston as Texas A&M’s replacement?
With the departure of Texas A&M to the SEC appearing imminent, rumors are starting to circulate about what steps the Big 12 will take in the aftermath.
Texas A&M’s departure will force Dan Beebe and the Big 12 staff to act, one way or another.
The conference will either be forced to immediately replace Texas A&M to maintain an even number of teams and...

We're Going Bowling: Autozone Liberty Bowl
Nothing quite like a mid-major school being matched up against an SEC team in a bowl game. Especially when that mid major team won their conference, and that SEC team barely finished above .500, and were only 3-5 in their conference. The Liberty Bowl is giving us just that this year, South Carolina vs. Houston.
